I’ve played the three songs I know best (you know, those songs that we’ve listened to hundreds of times), played from the MacBook Pro connected via USB to the DSP502. These songs had different resolutions: 44/16, 44/24 and 96/24. The result left me speechless, and my wife, who joined me later, was also speechless. […] The musicians and singers are there in the room in front of us. The sound is just perfect, and I can’t imagine better in my living room. I stayed in the “factory” setting. I have not yet tested the filters, equalizer, and room correction. I will do all of this step by step. I tested the UPnP input with mconnect and some low-res songs: even an old 128 kbps mp3 is transcended (resurrected?) By the DSP. It’s just amazing. With the purchase of the DSP, I have reached the end of my quest for high fidelity. Not forever of course, but for a very long time. […] It’s really brilliant, stunning, perfect. A big bravo!
