MAN301 to MAN301R Sidegrade Now Available
While the original MAN301 already offered hands-on control over your music library, there was a need to add new features, fully supporting the modern streaming-based way of enjoying your favourite music. We are proud to present: The MAN301R.
During the last decades, CD and download sales have decreased. Many users prefer streaming, rather than playing files from local NAS servers or connected USB devices.
The new MAN301R still has most of the features of its precursor, including internet radio, but also adds a new dimension to your listening experience. The new ITX board is 8 times as powerful, with completely rewritten drivers and 8 GB/RAM.
The software upgrade turns the unit into a Roon-based music streamer and music library manager, supporting 24-bit/192 kHz high-end audio. The Roon system seamlessly integrates your files with the ones offered by the Qobuz, Tidal, and KKBox music streaming services – giving you hands-on control over your music collection.
The new web interface gives you a full overview of your MAN301R, with access to mode selection (Roon Server, pre-amp, CD Ripping) and the ability to set the output level according to your specific amplifier. The interface also gives you remote access to the filter type switch and the polarity inversion function.
